AFCON 2019: Black Stars land in Egypt

Ghana’s contingent for the 32nd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations have touched down in the capital of Egypt.

The Black Stars of Ghana arrived in Egypt ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations on Friday afternoon.

The four-time champions of the tournament left their training base in Dubai, UAE on Friday morning after three weeks.

Coach Kwesi Appiah and his charges spent three weeks in Dubai to prepare for the tournament where they played against Namibia and South Africa.

The Black Stars have been housed in Group F alongside Guinea Bissau, Cameroon and Benin.

Ghana will begin their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations campaign with Benin on Tuesday at Ismailia Stadium.
