First ever Coconut festival to be held in Ghana in September

In line with President Akufo Addo’s vision to promote the cultivation and export of coconut, Ghana will be hosting the first ever coconut festival next month.

The festival which is slated to come on between 24th and 26th September 2019 at Accra International Conference Center is under the theme “Promoting Export Diversification through a robust Ghanaian Coconut Industry”.

The festival is expected to bring together people in the coconut industry from Canada, China, South East Asia and the Middle East.

Throwing more light on the program, the Director of Coconut Growth, the organizers of the International Coconut Festival- Ghana, Mr. Kwaku Boateng said Ghana will derive a lot of benefits from the festival.
