The Central Regional women Organizer for the Ruling new Patriotic Party NPP, Mrs. Charlotte Adwoa Antwi has donated an amount of Ghc 10,000 to pay for a surgery of a 3 year old girl who is suffering from Esophageal atresia at Assin Akrofuom in the Assin South District of the Central Region.

The Donation, which was done by the Central Regional Women Organizer Mrs Charlotte Adwoa Antwi is to enable a surgery to be performed on the 3 year old girl who haven’t been able to eat true his Esophagus since birth.

According to the Research, Esophageal atresia is a birth defect in which part of a baby’s esophagus (the tube that connects the mouth to the stomach) does not develop properly. Esophageal atresia is a birth defect of the swallowing tube (esophagus) that connects the mouth to the stomach.

Receiving the donation, Mr and Mrs Addei who are the Biological Parents of the girl expressed their gratitude to the The Ruling new Patriotic Party Central Regional women Organizer, Railways and Development Minister. Hon. Joe Ghartey who saw the video on tv and drew the attention of the Regional Women Organizer to come to their Aid and the entire NPP Central Regional executive for their support.
