Since Breaking His Silence On Homosexuality, Prez. Akufo-Addo Is Supposed To Receive Standing Ovations In Churches.

President Akufo-Addo has ended his long quiet over the seething subject of homosexuality right now being talked about in Ghana saying at St. Michael and All Angels Cathedral on Saturday, 27 February 2021, that homosexuality won’t be sanctioned under his administration to wide adulation and overwhelming applause.

A few Church participants met by MyNewsGh.com late night yesterday said today, Sunday they desire to appeal to God for him in Church and applaud and to commend his conclusive choice. They said they are glad about the choice reported by the President and expect this to settle matters. Confidence bunches have been instrumental contrary to the subject of homosexuality and had approached Akufo-Addo to talk.

President Akufo-Addo was talking in the Church in recognition of the establishment of the Second Archbishop of the Anglican Church of Ghana at Asante Mampong in the Ashanti Region when he declared his situation on the questionable LGBTQ matter which has been moving for quite a long time.

“I have said it previously, and let me stress it once more, that it won’t be under the Presidency of Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo that equivalent sex marriage will be legitimate,” he said, rehashing again and again for accentuation “It won’t occur! It won’t occur! It won’t occur!”

This is relied upon to settle the topic.

This comes after Akufo-Addo prior said homosexuality is unlawful in Ghana on the grounds that there are insufficient activists pushing for its legitimization at the beginning of his organization.

President Akufo-Addo held a meeting on Talk to Al Jazeera facilitated by Jane Dutton when he said an adequately solid alliance had not arisen that will at last push for an adjustment in the law.

Presently, under Ghanaian criminal law (Chapter 6 of the Criminal Code, 1960, as altered by The Criminal Code (Amendment) Act, 2003) same-sex sexual action among guys is unlawful. It is dubious whether same-sex sexual action among females is unlawful.

Notwithstanding, the President predicts an adjustment in the law and says that simply like somewhere else on the planet, the exercises of such people and gatherings will incite an adjustment in Ghana’s laws that dislike same-sex marriage.

This time around notwithstanding, the President has expressed in unequivocal terms that he is against it and it won’t ever occur, at any rate under his authority.
