The Independent Candidate In Suame Is An Agent Of NDC-Kyei Mensah

The independent Parliamentary Aspirant in the Suame Constituency is being sponsored by the opposition National Democratic Congress, Hon Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu has said.

Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu , the Member of Parliament  for Suame Constituency, made the statement during a one-on-one interview on Ashh Fm’s Key Note last Friday 25th September,20 hosted by Kwadwo Amakwah Foxzy.

He said the NDC have adopted the strategy of sponsoring independent candidates in the Ashanti Region including Suame constituency.

The Majority Leader in Parliament observed that the opposing political party was strategically pushing the independent candidate at his constituency just to pollute the electorate about his leadership and the good works of this government.

He said the independent candidate that the NDC is sponsoring in his constituency is claiming to be a member of the NPP, in order to sway votes from the NPP’s official parliamentary candidates.

Hon. Kyei Mensah Bonsu stated emphatically that “it is not true that the independent candidate is a member of the NPP in the Suame Constituency or elsewhere”.

The affable Minister of Parliamentary Affairs therefore urged the electorates to vote against all those imposters so that their ambition of reducing NPP parliamentary candidates’ votes would fail.

“Where was this so-called independent candidate who is claiming to be NPP member when the NPP were having the primaries?” he asked.

Hon. Kyei Mensah disclosed that, during the NDC’s administration they gave the said Independent Candidate (George Prempeh) a contract at the Tema Habour to work on second hand fridges.

‘’Even the person who attempted to contest me later rescinded his decision after the delegates of the party overwhelmingly endorsed my candidature’ he added

Osei Kyei Mansah Bonsu who has been enstooled as Suame Sompahene entreated the electorates to vote massively for Nana Akufo-Addo and all NPP parliamentary candidates to form the next government.

While counting down his achievements over the past twenty years (20) the Suame MP said his chances of emerging victorious in the upcoming December 7 general elections is a done deal because he has been a good servant. “That’s the basis on which I’m going to ask four more for myself and the President Nana Akufo-Addo.

According to him, his works since assuming office as MP is a tremendous indication that he deserves one more term in office.

‘ Under my able leadership I have been able to lobby for educational infrastructures across , giving scholarship to brilliant but needy students, lobbying for the construction of health facilities , drainages ,roads ,sanitation, security and electricity’ so we are on course, the creation of the municipal has also helped in the speeding of development in the constituency’. He outlined.
