UPSA Holds 12th Congregation

The University of Professional Studies has organised the 12th Congregation Session.

The 12th congregation which has been halved into four days began today Wednesday 2nd September and will end on Saturday 5th September 2020.

The sectioning according to the school is to ensure that, all the protocols for the COVID-19 pandemic that has to befall Ghana be a shared to.

Addressing the first session of the 12th Congregation, the Vice-Chancellor, University of Professional Studies, Professor Abednego F.O.Amartey advised the 2020 graduating students to always remember the lessons that the advent of COVID -19 has though us and endeavour to be innovative and useful to the Ghanaian society.


He said UPSA has trained them with skills that will help them navigate the challenges of life.


In all, a total of 3,520 students are graduating from the 2019-2020 cohort.

Out of this, 670 are postgraduate, 1,994 are undergraduate and 856 are diploma students.

Meanwhile the congregation’s gust speaker, Mrs Evon Atakora also challenged the graduates to use the three keys of life. These keys she said are persistent, honest and sacrifice.

She urged them to be persistent in all they do in life, be honest in all things and willing to sacrifice at all times.


A Sacrifice to keep the dreams alive, and for their professional gain.


She assured them that with these three keys they can excel in all fields of work.
