30TH VALLEY VIEW UNIVERSITY CONGREGATION: KEN AGYAPONG ADOPTS AGRIC FACULTY TO LEAD AGRICULTURAL REFORM IN GHANA: HONESTY AND HARD WORK WILL DETERMINE YOUR SUCCESS- KEN AGYAPONG TO GRADUANDS

The Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has pledged his commitment to modernize the Faculty of Agriculture at Valley View University (VVU), which will spearhead the needed agricultural revolution in the country, by adopting modern and state-of-the-art technology.
Speaking as the Special Guest of Honor during the 30th Congregation Ceremony of the University, Mr. Agyapong expressed his commitment to elevating agricultural education at the university.
Mr. Agyapong’s vision includes the establishment and implementation of an ‘Agricultural Engineering’ programme, which he believes will not only enhance the educational experience for students but also contribute to the advancement of agricultural practices.
He envisions the university as an educational institution and a hub for innovation in agriculture. He stated that empowering Valley View University’s Department of Agriculture could lead to the manufacture of their agricultural equipment.

The Member of Parliament for Assin Central further called on the graduating class to demonstrate love and patriotism at all times to propel their personal as well as national development.
He said Ghana is a great country with a remarkable history to be proud of, for which reason the younger generation must be resolute in their patriotism for the state.
Mr. Agyapong observed that the youth represent the backbone of every nation and, therefore, should be a prioritized asset of the country.
The Assin Central legislator noted that when more attention is given to the youth, they will become responsible leaders who will uphold the image and values of the country.

Hon. Ken Agyapong further reminded the graduates that life is not easy out there, stressing the need for them to adopt the virtues of perseverance, patience and honesty, which are the hallmarks of success. He advised the youth to take their destinies into their own hands, as the government cannot single-handedly employ the growing number of graduates, let alone all the youth in the country.
