The Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority (NYA), Madam Akosua Manu, has commended the Electoral Commissioner, Madam Jean Mensah and her team for working effectively with all political stakeholders to achieve a high turnout at the Adentan Municipality in the ongoing limited voter registration exercise.
She was full of praise for the electoral commission for granting an audience to all political parties to resolve concerns raised, as the commission seeks to register those who have attained the age of 18 and others to register to vote at the upcoming 2024 general election.
Madam Akosua Manu made these remarks at Adentan during a free medical outreach organized by her team to make a difference in the lives of the less privileged people in the community, especially in the area of healthcare.

The aspiring member of parliament on the ticket of the NPP for the Adentan Constituency, Akosua Manu, said the exercise was targeted at providing an opportunity for people, especially those who could not afford frequent medical check-ups due to financial constraints, to have access to medical care.

The medical director of the outreach, Dr. Isaac Yare who is an Optometrist, in his observation, said a lot of people have challenges with their eyes but are oblivious and urged the public to test and check their health status periodically and heed medical advice.

Some of the beneficiaries at the three medical screening centres in the Adentan municipality shared their thoughts with the media.
