The management and staff of the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission put smiles on the faces of the less privileged at the Dzorwulu Special School over the weekend, with a donation of items and some money as their widow’s mite in contributing to the upkeep of the special-needs children of the school.
The presentation, which is part of the FWSC’s corporate social responsibility and in the spirit of giving back to society, brought cheer to the special-needs students of the special school, many of whom have intellectual challenges and autism.
The donation from the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission was made possible through the financial contributions of management and staff to support the school in purchasing essential items that they may need and to enhance the learning and nurturing environment for the children at the Dzorwulu Special School.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission, Mr. Benjamin Arthur, who led the team, expressed his heartfelt sentiments about the initiative, stating that it was a long-cherished dream of the commission’s staff to bring hope and smiles to the faces of the beneficiaries at the special school.

Mr. Frederick Tetteh, the head headmaster of Dzorwulu Special School, conveyed his gratitude to the benefactors and extended his deepest appreciation to the staff of the FWSC for their generous donation.
He noted that the support will undoubtedly make a meaningful impact on the lives of the beneficiaries, especially at the beginning of the year.
