Ghana’s Oldest and Winners in Customer Service Papaye Fast Foods has been commended for its steadfastness in the hospitality industry in Ghana after opening a new branch at East Legon making it the 10th branch since the inception of the company.
Speaking at the official colourful opening of the East Legon branch in Accra on Thursday, a Representative of Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) Madam Roberta Okai Fumador commended the CEO of the company Dr. Samir Kalmoni and his hard-working staff on the significant milestone they’ve achieved.
She also urged them to do more in the opening of many branches and satisfying its customers. “GTA appreciates what they have done to the economy and to the nation.
We urge them to open more branches We are saying congratulations on the opening of your tenth branch”, Madam Fumador emphasized. On his part, the Executive Chairman of Papaye Foods, Dr. Samir Kalmoni who was represented by Mr. Emmanuel Worlanyo expressed his gratitude to the government, the media and the staff for how far the company has come from a tabletop operation of less than 10 workers that housed the first branch over 30 years to a staff strength of over 600 employees.
“We are extremely pleased to announce that we already have branches in Osu, Tesano/Apenkwa, Spintex, Tema, Lapaz, Awudome, Haatso, Frafraha, and Weija”, he said. He said the mission of the company remains firm to provide not only a delightfully delicious meal experience but also to contribute positively to the community adding that proof of their commitment to improving the communities they operate is the fact that the company employs 60 percent “of our workforce in this branch from this community, thus helping curb unemployment ”.
Dr. Kalmoni later expressed his commitment to excellence and exceeding the expectations of the customers.
The Chairman of the occasion Nana Kwaku Dei known in his private life as Ransford Tetteh praised the Executive Chairman for the success and urged him to open “10 more to do more”.
