The Minister of Food and Agriculture, Dr. Bryan Acheapong has appealed to all supporters of the New Patriotic Party to embrace unity and remain focused to achieve victory in the December 7 general elections.
He added that doing so, the party can harness its collective strength and increase its chances of winning.
He also emphasized the need for unity and solidarity behind the party’s candidates to achieve success in the elections.
Bryan Acheapong made this statement while engaging over 100 supporters of the NPP at its CONNECT THE BASE event at Asuogyaman in the Eastern Region.
aiming to have a significant engagement with members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Eastern Region to intensify its efforts to remain a pivotal force in the party’s electoral fortunes.
Dr. Bryan Acheapong, who doubles as the Member of Parliament for Abetifi Constituency, was accompanied by Eastern regional executives led by the party’s chairman Jeff Konadu Addo, Pius Enam Hadzide – Asuogyaman Constituency NPP parliamentary candidate, the Asuogyaman DCE-Hon. Mercy Akunnor, the 2020 Parliamentary Candidate for the Constituency, Paul Asare Ansah, among others.
Addressing the attendees, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, emphasized that the Eastern Region plays a critical role in the party’s electoral fortunes and its success.
According to him, the NPP in the Asuogyaman Constituency requires slightly over 800 votes to capture the parliamentary seat from the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He encouraged the party faithful to put aside their differences and unite behind the party to achieve victory in the 2024 election, and however, cautioned that if the region doesn’t work hard, its relevance in the party’s electoral success will diminish.
Paul Asare Ansah, the 2020 Parliamentary Candidate for the Asuogyaman Constituency, has reaffirmed his support for Pius Enam Hadzide, the current NPP parliamentary candidate, adding that, his commitment to helping Hadzide win the seat suggests that he is putting the party’s interests ahead of his own personal ambitions, and is willing to work collaboratively to achieve a common goal.
On his part, Pius Hadzide, the Parliamentary Candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Asuogyaman Constituency, expressed his gratitude Paul Asare Ansah, and other aspirants who have endorsed him and pledged their support.
He acknowledged their willingness to put aside personal ambitions and work together for the party’s success.
Jeff Konadu Addo, the Eastern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), praised Paul Asare Ansah for his graciousness and dedication to the party, not only endorsing Pius Hadzide but also, for continuing to work tirelessly for the party’s success despite not winning the parliamentary primaries.
Jeff Konadu Addo reinforced the importance of party unity and encouraged other party members to prioritize the party’s interests over personal ambitions.
