Kirk Franklin and Maverick City Concert in Accra Relocated Last Minute Due to Venue Price Surge

Accra, Ghana – August 17, 2024 – Culture Management Group (CMG) Gospel, in collaboration with Faith Collective, announced an urgent venue change for the highly anticipated Kingdom World Tour concert featuring Grammy award-winning artists Kirk Franklin and Maverick City. Originally scheduled to take place at ICGC Christ Temple East on Teshie Rasta Road, the event will now be held at the First Love Center in Accra.

This sudden relocation was prompted by an unexpected 80% increase in the rental price at ICGC Christ Temple East just 24 hours before the concert. This steep hike in cost caused significant logistical challenges for the event organizers.

“We are shocked and deeply disappointed by this change in plans by the management of ICGC Christ Temple East. This sudden increase in cost has caused unnecessary complications for all involved,” stated a representative from Culture Management Group Gospel.

Despite this setback, CMG quickly secured a new venue to ensure the show would go on as planned. The concert is set to take place on Sunday, August 18th, at 5:00 p.m. at the First Love Center in Accra.

CMG has expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by the venue change and thanked fans for their understanding and continued support.
