Fulham is set to sign Crystal Palace centre-back Joachim Andersen for about £30m.
The Cottagers have pursued Andersen throughout the summer transfer window and had an initial bid rejected as Palace sought a fee close to £40m.
However, a deal has now been agreed and the Denmark defender will have a medical on Wednesday before completing a return to the club he played for on loan in the 2020-21 season.
The 28-year-old made 112 appearances for the Eagles since joining from Lyon in the summer of 2021.
There has also been interest in Andersen’s centre-back partner Marc Guehi from Newcastle United and chairman Steve Parish said it would be “unlikely” the Eagles would let both players leave.
The Magpies have made three offers for Guehi, with the third bid understood to be about £60m.
Guehi was one of the standout performers for England at Euro 2024 and played six of the seven games in the competition, only missing the quarter-final through suspension.
Both players started Palace’s opening Premier League game against Brentford on Sunday.
Palace have bid £12m plus £2m in add-ons for Wolfsburg centre-back Maxence Lacroix as they look to replace the departing Andersen.
The 24-year-old only has one year on his contract and sources say the player wants to make the move to the Eagles.
Lacroix has worked with Palace manager Oliver Glasner before, when Glasner was in charge of Wolfsburg.
