The presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has once again touted the positive impact of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration, stating that the Akufo-Addo government has performed better in most sectors of the economy than any other government in the fourth republic.
The vice president made these remarks at a stakeholders’ event at Tema in the Greater Accra region on Thursday.
Dr. Bawumia’s visit to Harbour City was the highlight of Day 4 of his visit to the Greater Accra region, which saw him engage with the electorate at Tema East, Tema Central and Tema West constituencies as part of his constituency-focused nationwide campaign tour.
Speaking at a Stakeholders Forum at Tema West, the NPP flag bearer reiterated the legacy of the Akufo-Addo-led government, which has surpassed all governments since the fourth republic in many sectors and urged the electorate to vote for the NPP to do more.

As has become characteristic of the NPP flagbearer’s campaign, many visibly excited members of the public took the opportunity to interact with the Vice President when he engaged them in a meet and greet session on the streets and markets in Tema West.

Addressing the constituent’s youth at a Community Connect event at Tema West, Dr. Bawumia reiterated the NPP’s record and appealed to them to vote for him in the December elections.

The NPP flagbearer and his entourage also engaged constituents in the Tema Central constituency at a stakeholders’ event where he stated that despite the doubts and cynicism of some, the NPP government has achieved a lot, especially in the area of healthcare delivery.

The Vice President was also in the Tema East constituency and interacted with stakeholders at a forum, where he touted the achievement of government in education and urged the constituents to vote for his new vision for Ghana.
