ATIWA EAST—ROAD TO PARLIAMENT: ABENA OSEI-ASARE FILES NOMINATION FORMS, URGES RETENTION OF NPP TO DO MORE

Abena Osei-Asare, the Member of Parliament for Atiwa East, has officially submitted her nomination forms to re-contest the upcoming parliamentary election scheduled for December 7.
The Minister of State at the Finance Ministry promised to bring more development projects to the area if re-elected, and with her wealth of experience and dedication to her constituents, she pledged to continue her good work and bring about significant growth and progress to the Atiwa East Constituency.
The lawmaker received support from party sympathizers and delegates as she filed her nomination forms for the upcoming parliamentary election.
Scores of party faithful gathered to show their enthusiasm for Abena Osei-Asare’s candidacy. Clad in NPP-branded attire featuring images of Abena Osei-Asare and Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, they marched through the principal street of Anyinam to the district EC office.

Addressing her, Abena Osei-Asare expressed her gratitude to the party leadership and delegates for their unwavering support.
The lawmaker stressed the crucial importance of maintaining a united front as they approach the 2024 elections, emphasizing that a strong and cohesive party is essential for victory and progress.

Speaking to the media, Abena Osei-Asare was confident that retaining her as MP and electing Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia as President will transform Atiwa East into a model for development in Ghana.
She highlighted that the numerous projects she has initiated are a testament to her dedication, adding that this achievement is truly phenomenal and deserving of our continued support.
Abena Osei-Asare urged the media to promote peace and tranquillity before, during, and after the December 7th elections.
She also appealed to her constituents, party supporters and sympathizers, to refrain from politics of insult and violence. Instead, she encouraged them to engage in constructive dialogue and respectful discourse, ensuring a peaceful electoral process and fostering a harmonious environment for all.

The Atiwa East Constituency Chairman Albert Nuamah expressed his delight at the excitement and enthusiasm that greeted the nomination filing process.
He noted that supporters of Abena Osei-Asare are eager to see her re-elected for another term, citing her impressive track record.
Chairman Nuamah urged the party members to return to intensify their campaigns, highlighting the excellent policies of the NPP.
