2024 ELECTION: DR BAWUMIA TOURS CENTRAL REGION TO CANVASS FOR VOTES

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President and Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has toured the Central Region to solicit votes in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections.
Addressing the people of Esiam in the Ajumako Esiam constituency, Dr. Bawumia said the former president failed to live up to expectations, and Ghanaians voted him out of power.
He called on the people of Ajumako Esiam to vote massively for him as President and Dr. Rashed as MP to continue their good policies and programs, adding that the NDC government, under former President Mahama, sent the people of Ghana into hardship after they cancelled trainer allowances and brought dumsor. He said the NPP government had rolled out Agenda 111 hospitals and brought in one ambulance per constituency to bring health delivery services to the doorstep of the people.
The Vice President added that former President Mahama has held several political positions in this country but cannot boost any social policy that he initiated to help better the lives of ordinary Ghanaians.

The vice president recounted his many achievements as vice president and urged the people to promote him to become full president to improve quality of life.
He assured the people that if voted into power he would create one million jobs for the youth through digitalisation where many youths could work in the UK, USA, Canada and other countries without travelling outside.
The vice president added that he will be more accountable to the people of Ghana than former President Mahama, who has just one term to serve as president.

The Member of Parliament for Assin Central Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, who was on the campaign train, advised the entourage to vote for Vice President Dr. Bawumia to continue the good work of the NPP government. He said this is the only way the people can continue to enjoy the free SHS.

Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong promises to build a cassava or a corn factory for the people of Ajumako Enyan Essiam if they vote for Dr. Bawumia as president and Dr. Rashid Etuaful as MP for the area.
He was quick to add that those who will get the opportunity to work in the factory must do so diligently, adding that whoever puts up a lackadaisical attitude to undermine the factory will be sacked.

The Vice President was accompanied by Mr. Kwabena Adjei Adjapong, Mr. Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin, Mr. Kwadwo Ansafoa Poku, Mrs. Justina Marigold Assan, the Central Regional Minister, and other leading members of the party.
