WESTERN NORTH: NDC HAS FAILED YOU FOR 3 DECADES, VOTE NPP FOR PROGRESS – NAPO APPEALS TO BIA CONSTITUENTS

The Vice-Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has urged voters in Bia East and West in the Western Region, to reject the NDC, in the upcoming 7th December elections, for deception and stalling their development after almost 3 decades, and vote for the NPP who have the proven record in improving their lives,
He reminded the electorate in the two constituencies that three decades of voting for the NDC have yielded little, and it’s time for them to vote massively for the NPP to improve their well-being.
He made these remarks during his campaign visit to the Bia East and West constituencies, where he engaged stakeholders, including chiefs and religious leaders, at mini rallies at Kaase and Debiso.
Speaking at the stakeholders’ interaction, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh sought the blessings of the traditional leaders for his party’s presidential endeavours in the area.

He noted that the NDC’s divisive and tribalistic agenda against the NPP over the years has failed with the endorsement of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as its Presidential Candidate, and assured that the NPP is a family for all Ghanaians.

Contrasting what he described as the decades of neglect and under-development under the leadership of NDC governments and MPs to the current situation, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh challenged the people of the region to reject the oft-repeated lie that the NPP does not care about them.

Napo said the NPP’s record in government is enviable compared to the abysmal standards of the NDC and urged the electorate to vote for Dr. Bawumia and the NPP parliamentary candidates in the area.

Hon. Joojo Rockson Obeng, the Western North Regional Minister for his part debunked falsehoods in the cocoa industry and said the government has implemented a lot of cocoa-growing initiatives for the people and will continue to support Cocoa farmers.

Dr. Kwaku Afriyie, Member of Parliament for Sefwi Wiawso and Hon. Collins Tetteh, Member of Parliament for Sefwi Akontombra also spoke at the mini rally.

A Chief of the area also shared the views of the traditional leaders.

The next stop for Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh and his entourage was Sefwi Juaboso, where the constituents defied the rains to listen to the message of the NPP.
The NPP running mate and other speakers reiterated the need for the constituents to reject the NDC and vote for the NPP to entrench good governance and development in the area.
