AMENFI EAST—NPP HEALTH WALK/MINI RALLY: VOTE FOR NPP’S DEVELOPMENT-ORIENTED CANDIDATES—KEN AGYAPONG TO AMENFI EAST ELECTORATE

Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong, the Member of Parliament for the Assin Central constituency in the Central Region, has called on constituents of Amenfi East in the Western Region to vote massively for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and its parliamentary candidate for the area, Mr. Ernest Frimpong, in the presidential and parliamentary elections in December, in the party’s bid to win the seat from the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The outgoing legislator made this clarification call during a mini-rally held in the constituency after a health walk organised by the NPP to galvanise and energise the support base of the party for the upcoming polls.
The Assin Central legislator had earlier joined the NPP’s parliamentary candidate for Amenfi East, Amenfi East NPP constituency, polling station, electoral area executives, and hundreds of NPP supporters and sympathisers in the area for a health walk that ended in a mini rally.
The 6-term legislator said the NPP, despite the slow economy, has proven to be the caretaker for the people with its pro-poor interventions and policies, such as the Free SHS policy, which has alleviated the social and living conditions of many Ghanaians, including the electorate at Amenfi East.
The affable MP, who is bowing out of parliament after over 20 years, said the NPP’s parliamentary candidate for the area has proven beyond reasonable doubt that he is the man for the constituency, as he has already shown his calibre to the people even though he is not yet elected into office.
He appealed to the chiefs and the people of Amenfi East to support and vote for the NPP due to the numerous interventions and programs it had rolled out since 2017.
Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong has in recent times joined the campaign trail for the NPP in its bid to break the eight-year ruling cycle in Ghana. He has on several occasions joined Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh and other parliamentary candidates in the campaign activities as the presidential and parliamentary elections of 2024 draw closer.
