The Eastern Regional second Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Frank Appiah,
has cautioned against voter apathy among constituents in the region.
He emphasised that the 2024 general elections are pivotal to the party’s success, urging party members to unite and eschew factors that could derail their chances of victory in the 2024 elections.
Speaking at a mega-health walk, dubbed “IT IS POSSIBLE,” in the Akuapem South Constituency of the Eastern Region, Frank Appiah encouraged the party faithful to step up their campaigns and vote overwhelmingly for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for bold solutions.
Thousands of NPP supporters and Eastern Regional executives joined forces with Eric Yeboah Apeadu, the parliamentary candidate for the Akuapem South Constituency, to demonstrate unity ahead of the December 7th general elections.
The final victory walk of the NPP saw a resounding success, with enthusiastic party supporters, mostly youth groups dressed in NPP colours and paraphernalia, amidst singing and dancing, participating in the event.
Addressing the rally, Vice Chairman Frank Appiah urged party members in the Eastern Region, particularly those in the Akuapem South Constituency, to put aside their differences, unite, and work together for a goal to secure victory for Dr. Bawumia and Eric Yeboah Apeadu in the December 7th general elections.
He stressed the importance of a collective effort to ensure a triumphant outcome in the upcoming elections.
The parliamentary candidate for Akuapem South Constituency, Eric Yeboah Apeadu, on his part, emphasised that the constituency’s loyalty to the NPP is mutual, stating, “Akuapem South is for NPP, and NPP is Akuapem South.”
He passionately urged the constituents to vote massively for the NPP and expressed gratitude to NDC members in the constituency for inadvertently campaigning for the NPP, acknowledging that they knew they couldn’t win in Akuapem South.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Akuapem South, Frank Aidoo, made a rallying call to constituents to vote overwhelmingly for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Eric Yeboah Apeadu to exceed the turnout in the 2020 elections.
He emphasised that the 2024 elections are crucial in protecting the good policies initiated and the numerous development projects by the NPP government.
