The Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo) and the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) have announced the temporary shutdown of several thermal power plants in Tema. This move comes as part of ongoing maintenance activities and adjustments in the country’s power generation and distribution system.

The shutdown is expected to impact electricity supply in the region, with the two companies advising consumers to prepare for potential disruptions.
