Letra Davis Shares Her Inspiring Journey to Ghana During Net2TV Studio Launch

Net2TV unveiled its state-of-the-art new studio in style, hosting a lineup of special guests, including Letra Davis, an American entrepreneur who relocated to Ghana in 2021. The event provided the perfect platform for Davis to share her heartfelt story about her journey to Ghana, her challenges, and her deep love for her new home.

In the interview, Davis reflected on her decision to leave the United States and move to Ghana—a choice she attributes to divine inspiration. “I believe it was God who led me here,” she said. “I didn’t know anyone, but I had faith that this move was meant to be.”

Relocating came with its own set of challenges, particularly adapting to a new culture and navigating perceptions about foreigners. “Some people feel Ghanaians don’t welcome outsiders, and while I’ve felt that at times, I’ve also experienced incredible warmth and generosity here,” she shared.

Davis is the founder of Lilley’s Consulting Solutions, a consulting firm specializing in workforce optimization for nonprofits and Fortune 500 companies. Her professional expertise has found relevance in Ghana, as she continues to help organizations streamline operations and reduce stress for their teams.

Her personal life in Ghana has been equally enriching. Davis expressed her love for Ghanaian cuisine, particularly banku with tilapia and red-red, though she admits to preferring a milder spice level. “I’m learning to cook some of the dishes myself, and I enjoy every bit of it,” she said with a smile.

Music is another passion that ties her to both her past and present. A gospel and classical music enthusiast, Davis performed impromptu during the interview, showcasing her powerful voice and emotional connection to her craft.

The journey to becoming fully integrated in Ghana has also been a family affair. Davis’s son, a content creator and musician, has embraced the country’s vibrant culture and is thriving creatively. Together, they are building a home in the Eastern Region, symbolizing their long-term commitment to their new life.

The interview also highlighted her desire to bridge cultural divides and dispel misconceptions about Africa. “In the U.S., there’s a lot of misinformation about Africa. People are people everywhere—there are good and bad in every country. I hope to help others see Ghana and Africa through a positive, realistic lens,” she explained.

Davis’s story is one of courage, faith, and embracing new opportunities. Her journey to Ghana, coupled with her reflections during Net2TV’s studio launch, exemplifies her belief that unity and cultural exchange make humanity stronger.

As she ended the interview, she left viewers with a heartfelt message: “We’re more alike than different. Let’s celebrate those differences and move forward in harmony.”

Letra Davis’s story is a reminder that stepping outside your comfort zone can lead to life-changing experiences. And with Ghana as her new home, she’s determined to make every moment count.
