Leaders of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC) paid a courtesy call on His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, Ga Mantse, at the Ga Mantse palace in Accra to strengthen ties, explore investment opportunities and collaborations in other areas.
CWEIC is a commercial, not-for-profit membership organisation with an official mandate from the Commonwealth Heads of Government to facilitate trade and investment throughout the 56 Commonwealth member nations.
The role of CWEIC is to use the convening power and trusted network of the Commonwealth, which is led by King Charles of England, to drive trade and investment.
John Apea, Head of Mission – Ghana, who led the delegation, expressed his gratitude to the Ga Mantse for the opportunity to visit him.
He laid out the vision of the visit by the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council to Ghana, and their intended partnership with the local communities, including the Ga State.
Other members of the delegation also shared their thoughts on the courtesy call and called for collaborative partnerships and deepening relations between the global institution and the Ga state to the benefit of the Ga people.
King Tackie Teiko Tsuru for his part, warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed his delight at the opportunity to begin the beneficial partnership with the investment council.
