Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong received a rousing welcome upon his return to Ghana, as thousands of enthusiastic supporters, family members, and well-wishers gathered at Kotoka International Airport to celebrate his arrival. The atmosphere at Terminal 3 was electric, with a brass band playing patriotic tunes and supporters waving placards bearing messages such as “Ken, Ghana Needs You”, “Voice of the Voiceless”, and “Hope for the Hopeless.”

As Agyapong stepped into the arrival hall, a young girl approached him with a bouquet, marking the beginning of an outpouring of affection from the waiting crowd. The energy only intensified as he made his way outside, where a convoy of vehicles, motorbikes, and buses lined up to escort him through the streets of Accra.

“Challenges Won’t Deter Me”

Addressing the ecstatic crowd, Agyapong expressed deep gratitude for the overwhelming support, reaffirming his commitment to fighting for truth and justice.

“This remarkable welcome fills my heart with profound gratitude,” he said. “Your unwavering support inspires me, strengthens me, and reaffirms my dedication to standing up for truth and justice, especially for those who lack a voice.”

He acknowledged the challenges that come with being a bold advocate for the people but insisted that he remains undeterred.

“Anyone who chooses to speak the truth and stand for the voiceless will face obstacles. But through every trial, I have emerged stronger, wiser, and more determined,” he declared.

Grand Procession Through Accra

From the airport, Agyapong led a grand procession along the N4 highway towards his office in Shiashie, Accra. Supporters lined the streets, cheering as his convoy moved through the city. Upon arrival at his office, another large crowd eagerly awaited him, joined by members of the media ready to capture his first words after his return.

With confidence and conviction, he assured his supporters that his mission remains unchanged.

“Together, we shall rise—undaunted and unstoppable. Our journey continues, and the conversation we begin today will shape the future of our nation,” he affirmed.
