ABUAKWA NORTH NPP & FREE SHS: ABUAKWA NORTH NPP DEBUNKS NDC’s CLAIM OF IMPLEMENTING FREE SHS.

The Communications Team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Abuakwa North Constituency, has rejected claims made by the Vice Presidential candidate, of the National Democratic Congress, (NDC), Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, regarding the NDC’s role in the implementation of the Free Senior High School (SHS) policy.
The team, led by Stephen Osei-Wusu, has accused Prof. Opoku-Agyemang of making inaccurate claims and attempting to take credit for a policy that was actually implemented by the NPP government.
Speaking at a press conference held at Akyem Kukurantumi, the Abuakwa North NPP communications team, also dismissed claims that the NDC is not against the Free Senior High School policy and described these claims as lies.

Mr. Osei-Wusu enumerated on several educational achievements and infrastructural development in Abuakwa North, facilitated by the Akufo-Addo administration and the MP for the area, Gifty Twum-Ampofo.
These achievements, he said, demonstrate the government’s commitment to improving education infrastructure and providing resources to support students and teachers in the constituency.
Mr Osei-Wusu cautioned Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang to fact-check her information before making public statements.
He encouraged Ghanaians to support Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flag bearer of the NPP to continue the nation-building efforts, stating that the NPP has a vision for the country’s progress and growth.

The Abuakwa North Constituency Director of Research and Elections, Nana Ofosu-Asante Twum, in an interview with NET2 TV NEWS, also trumpeted the various success stories of the NPP administration in the constituency, especially under the tenure of Gifty Twum-Ampofo, the Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North.
