The Minority Leader in Ghana’s Parliament and Member of Parliament for Effutu Constituency in the Central Region, Hon. Afenyo-Markin, has emphasized the critical role of unity, forgiveness, and grassroots empowerment in achieving political success. Addressing party members, he called for a renewed sense of purpose and collaboration to secure victory.
“We are rebranding the party and restructuring while fostering forgiveness among ourselves. In every party, misunderstandings can occur, but if we truly want victory, there must be understanding and unity within the party. The key focus is unity,” he stressed.
Afenyo-Markin also highlighted ongoing development projects in his constituency, many of which are nearing completion and set to be commissioned. These projects, he explained, aim to improve the lives of the people and create sustainable growth in the region.
In addition, the Minority Leader announced the launch of Touching Lives, a program dedicated to empowering market women, particularly in rural areas. This initiative seeks to provide resources and opportunities to enhance their businesses, ensuring long-term economic empowerment.
“This program will not only uplift rural communities but also ensure that every constituency benefits from the party’s renewed vision,” he noted.
Hon. Afenyo-Markin’s focus on unity, forgiveness, and grassroots empowerment reflects a strategic shift in the party’s approach, aimed at bridging divisions and prioritizing the needs of the people. His leadership inspires hope among party members and constituents alike, reinforcing the belief that victory is attainable through collective effort and a focus on development.
As the party moves forward with its rebranding agenda, Afenyo-Markin’s vision serves as a blueprint for success, promising a brighter future for both the party and the nation.
