The Africa Games facilities are 87% completed and it is going to be ready in March 2024.
The venue earmarked for the games will host 21 sporting disciplines, including Swimming, Tennis, Badminton, and Volleyball.

When completed, the Borteyman facility is expected to have an aquatic center with a warm-up and competition pool that can seat up to 1000 people, as well as five tennis courts, among other amenities.
The 50,000-seating capacity Olympic Stadium will not be completed in time thus some sporting facilities will be completed to host certain disciplines.

The facilities to be constructed include a 50,000-capacity Olympic Stadium Complex, multi-purpose sports halls for all indoor sports, aquatic centers for swimming and tennis courts.
The facility will be converted into a University for Sports and Development after the successful hosting of the games. As a result, hostels, administration block and lecturer halls will be constructed for this purpose.
