Asamoah Gyan, Muntari and other former players visit the family of Atsu to pay respects

Former Black Stars players Asamoah Gyan, Sulley Muntari, Baffour Gyan, Haminu Dramani and Emmanuel Agyeman Badu have paid a visit to the family of the late Christian Atsu today.

The players were there to sign the book of condolence and commiserate with the family of the late Black Stars winger.

Atsu who played 65 times for the senior national team was tragically killed as a result of the Syria-Turkey earthquakes earlier this month. His body was recovered over the weekend after close to 2 weeks of uncertainty about his whereabouts.

On Sunday 19th February his mortal remains were repatriated back to Ghana and a short ceremony was held in his honour at the Kotoka International Airport.
