To help curb the spread of the novel covid 19 virus in the Afigya kwabre South district of the Ashanti Region, the Afigya Kwabre South District assembly has distributed two thousand nose masks, tissues and liquid soap to citizens as part of measures to help stop the spread of the virus.

The exercise according to the District Chief Executive, Christian Adu-Poku is the first phase of the distribution exercise by the assembly.

According to Christian Adu Poku, the assembly has thought it wise to provide the nose masks to citizens within the district so that they can use to protect themselves from the covid19 and also use it to enforce the wearing of the mask.

He said after the distribution the compliance of the wearing of the mask will be intensified so that the virus will not be spread in the district.
