The Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central Constituency, Hon Kennedy Agyapong and The Assin Fosu Municipal Assembly has donated an amount of GH¢20,000 to victims of the recent fire outbreak in the Assin Fosu central Market.

There was a fire outbreak in the Assin Fosu Central Market about a month ago.

The exact cause of the blaze is still unknown, fire-fighters were said to have responded positively to a distress call and managed to douse the fire on time which helped to reduce the level of destruction in the market.

Oman Fm Reporter Isaac Donkoh is currently with the Assin Fosu municipal chief executive Hon Nicholas Kofi Barko who did the donation on behalf of the MP.
