Stakeholders in the Dormaa West constituency in the Bono Region, have eulogized the Akufo-Addo-led New Patriotic Party government for implementing various policies and programmes that have had a positive impact on the communities.
The stakeholders comprised Chiefs and traditional leaders, the Christian clergy, Muslim clerics, and farmer and traders union leaders, made these eulogies during a stakeholder engagement with the Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Dr. Bawumia is currently in the Bono Region campaigning for votes in the region’s constituencies as part of his nationwide ‘Possibility’ tour to pitch his ‘Bold Solutions for Ghana’ message to the electorate.
Various speakers took turns to pray and bless the endeavours of the Vice President and his team and thanked the government for its numerous social interventions and pro-poor policies.
Taking his turn, Dr. Bawumia assured the electorate of his record in the Akufo-Addo-led govt with the rollout of the digitalization agenda, which has led to Ghana’s pioneering implementation of standards and process, using the Ghana Card as an example.
The NPP presidential candidate also highlighted the successful efforts of his government’s agenda for financial inclusivity with the introduction of the interoperability platform for easy access for all Ghanaians, which is a hallmark of what can be achieved.
The NPP Flag bearer was also in Wamfie to engage constituents.
