The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that the preliminary round draw for the 2025/26 CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup will be held on Monday, August 12, 2025, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
According to a statement from CAF, the first-leg matches of the preliminary round are set to take place between August 15 and 18, with the return legs scheduled for August 22 to 25.
Ghana will be represented in the CAF Champions League by Bibiani Gold Stars, following their historic triumph in the Ghana Premier League.
Asante Kotoko, fresh off their 10th MTN FA Cup victory, will participate in the Confederation Cup.
Both clubs will be hoping for favourable draws as they look to make a strong impact in the competitions and reignite Ghana’s presence on the continental football scene.
