Cape Coast Court Grants 4 Kasoa Shooting Suspects Bail

A Cape Coast Circuit Court has granted the four suspects who were arrested in connection to the disturbance at a voters’ registration in Kasoa bail.

The Court presided by Dorinda Smith Arthur granted them bail to the tune of ¢30,000 each with two sureties.

And for the sureties, one must be a government worker whose net salary is ¢2000.

Prosecution charged the culprits, Sulley Razak, Majeed Amadu, Suleman Yusuf and Razak Musa with conspiracy to commit crime, causing unlawful damage to the three motorbikes and discharge of fire arms in a public place without authority.

But the accused pleaded not guilty to all three charges.

Lawyer for the accused persons, Amponsah Dadzie then pleaded for bail which was subsequently granted by the court.

The case has been adjourned to Tuesday, August 18, 2020 for a case management conference.

However, the suspects are to report to the Kasoa Police station every Tuesday until the case is called.
