Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal’s Myles Lewis-Skelly, a young player who has been primarily used as a left-back by Mikel Arteta. However, Lewis-Skelly originally came through the academy as a midfielder.According to reports, Chelsea are hoping to persuade Lewis-Skelly to join the club by promising him more opportunities in midfield. This could potentially lead to him playing a more central role.
England manager Thomas Tuchel has emphasized the importance of Lewis-Skelly gaining more game time in order to have a chance of making the World Cup squad next year.
