Coronavirus Will Not Stop Roads Construction In The Country-Roads Minister Told Parliament

The Minister for Roads and Highways and MP for Atiwa West, Kwasi Amoako Atta says the outbreak of Corona virus in China will not affect road construction in the country.

According to him most roads in the country are being constructed by the Chinese companies but the outbreak will not stop or slow down construction of roads across the country.

Speaking on the floor of Parliament during the debate of the State of the Nation Address, Kwasi Amoako Atta said the current government has achieve much in the roads sector, he indicated more interchanges are being constructed, the Tema motorway which is a six tier interchange being funded by the people Republic of Japan and the first phase will be commission in June this year.

He said the Pokuase interchange is also a four tier interchange which is the first of it kind in West Africa which is about 65% completed among other roads being constructed in the country.

Also the minister for Works and Housing and MP for Abuakwa South, Samuel Atta Akyea debating the State of the Nation Address he said President Akufo Addo deserve another four years term to be able to transform the economy for the next generation because he has exhibited competence and transformation of the country.

He further called on Ghanaians to give President Akufo Addo four more years to do more for Ghanaians.
