A burgeoning pro-New Patriotic Party supporters group known as the National Grassroots Movement 4 Ken has thrown its weight behind and expressed its unflinching support for 6-term legislator Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong’s candidature and has appealed to the party’s delegates to vote massively for him come November 4.
The group, which is an amalgamation of several grassroots groups within the NPP and is embedded in all 275 constituencies across the country, disclosed this to the media at a press conference dubbed the ‘Obiaa Boga beba’ press conference, held in Accra on Tuesday.
With barely 3 days to go, the NPP will hold a National Delegates Conference on November 4, where over 200,000 party delegates will cast their votes to select a flagbearer for the NPP to contest the 2024 presidential elections.
After placing second in the August 26 elections for the Special Delegates Congress, many NPP faithful have placed their bet on Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong, who is number one on the November 4 ballot paper, to emerge victorious should the elections be conducted fairly and without intimidation.
Mr. Kofi Antwi, National Coordinator of the Grassroots Movement 4 Ken group, addressed the media in Accra.

He also eulogized the many philanthropic achievements of Hon. Ken Agyapong, especially in times of crisis and said the Assin Central MP is true to his Ghana First agenda.
He also touted the business and entrepreneurial acumen of the businessman and politician, which is needed to salvage the country from its present economic challenges.

Other high-ranking officials of the Grassroots 4 Ken movement, including businessmen, also addressed the press.
