The National Youth Authority today presented sanitary items and personal protective equipment to the Ministry of Health to be distributed to all the frontline workers to aid them in their work.
Speaking to the CEO of the National Youth Authority, Sylvester Tetteh he indicated that, the seven hundred thousand Ghana cedis items are part of their contributions to support government to fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.
He further revealed that the Association after the Coronavirus pandemic will collate a data to know the number of people who lost their jobs in the fight against the virus.
The deputy minister of Health and MP for Gomoa West, Alexander Kojo Abban received the items on behalf of government and expressed gratitude towards their action.
He said the items will be immediately disburse to the various hospital across the country to help the fight.
Meanwhile the National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party, Nana B called on the youth to desist from sharing fake information on the Coronavirus pandemic.
According to him it breeds fear and panic which is not good for the country and they should rather speak the protocols in fighting against Coronavirus pandemic.
