Former Aston Villa striker Darren Bent has described Mohammed Kudus’ move to Tottenham Hotspur as a “fantastic signing” after the Ghanaian delivered an impressive debut performance.
Kudus arrived at Spurs this summer from West Ham United in a £55 million deal and made an instant impact, providing two assists in Tottenham’s 3-0 win over Burnley in their Premier League opener on Saturday.
Speaking on Premier League Productions, Bent commended the 25-year-old forward for his sharpness and potential for further growth.
“Signing Mohammed Kudus is a brilliant move for Tottenham. He’s looked really sharp on the ball, and I think there’s still more to come from him,” Bent said.
Kudus will be looking to maintain his strong form when Ange Postecoglou’s side travel to the Etihad Stadium to take on Manchester City on Saturday, August 23, with kick-off set for 11:30 am
