Nigerian superstar Davido’s extravagant $3.7 million wedding drew global attention, but in Ghana, it was dancehall artist Stonebwoy who sparked online buzz after attending the event.

In the days following the celebration, social media users claimed Stonebwoy bent down to pick up sprayed cash.

While Stonebwoy has not responded, his wife, Dr. Louisa Satekla, clarified the situation, stating he was retrieving a diamond bracelet that had fallen.

“It’s crazy how some people think. You can clearly see his diamond bracelet fall and he bends to pick it up, but because of malice and mischief, you choose to believe he picked up $1? Some mindsets really say a lot… smh,” she posted.

Videos from different angles confirmed her explanation, showing Stonebwoy bending to retrieve the bracelet, which was actually handed back to him by another attendee. He never touched any money.
