DR. MATTHEW OPOKU PREMPEH AT PANTANG: YOUR WELFARE & WELL-BEING ARE BETTER UNDER NPP – NAPO ASSURES TRAINEE NURSES AT PANTANG.

The Pantang Psychiatric Hospital and its environs were electrified and became a beehive of activity on Thursday when the vice-presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh paid a visit to the hospital to interact with health workers as he intensified his campaign to get his boss, the flag bearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia elected come December 7.
The health workers who were visibly excited at the presence of the NPP running mate, chanted and sang along as they cheered Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh and his entourage.
This visit follows an earlier interaction with nursing trainees and other health workers at Korle Bu in Accra on Wednesday.
In his address to the jubilant nurses, Dr Opoku Prempeh popularly called Napo warned the trainee nurses against voting for NDC’s John Mahama, who according to Napo, will cancel the nursing trainee allowances, should he become president.
He said the NPP under Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will entrench the trainee allowances, which have become a lifeline for the students in their bid to become health professionals.

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh said under the next NPP govt, more job opportunities will be available for health workers all over the country, with the commissioning of the government’s Agenda 111 hospitals and appealed to them to vote massively for Dr. Bawumia.

The NPP parliamentary candidate for the Madina constituency, Robert Lamptey, taking his turn assured the trainee nurses and health workers in in and around Madina that more hostel facilities will be built for the health workers to improve their living conditions.

He urged the trainee nurses to vote massively for the NPP flagbearer and himself to continue to improve the welfare of health workers in the country.
