The Parliamentary Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for Fanteakwa South Constituency, Duke Ofori-Atta has charged party faithful and sympathizers in the constituency to undertake a spirited campaign to help the Presidential Candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, win the December elections and break the eight-year governance cycle.
He made this clarion call at a mini-rally after he led a walk through the principal streets of Fanteakwa South dubbed “Anedasuo,”, which aimed to mobilize support and energize the fanbase of the party.
The “Anedasuo Walk” saw over a thousand residents who thronged the streets of Osino, including party executives, and supporters, all determined to propel the NPP to victory.
Speaking with the cross-section of the media, Mr Duke Ofori-Atta, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Fanteakwa South, emphasized the importance of unity among party faithful, urging all members to work together towards a common goal, stressing that “Breaking the Eight” is a collective responsibility that requires the efforts of everyone.
Mr Ofori-Atta’s address highlighted the need for a unified front in the quest to break the eight-year governance cycle, hence encouraging party members to put aside individual differences and work collaboratively to achieve victory in the upcoming elections.
Duke Ofori-Atta issued a rallying call to all party members, urging them to join forces and embark on a comprehensive door-to-door campaign. He set an ambitious target of securing 80% to 85% of the votes, emphasizing the need for a collective effort to achieve this goal.
The District Chief Executive for Fanteakwa South, Ernest Ofosu, highlighted the remarkable achievements of the NPP government over the past seven years. He urged party members to emphasize these accomplishments as the surest way to resonate with the electorate and secure victory in the upcoming elections.
The NPP PC for Suhum, Frank Asiedu Bekoe, popularly called Protozoa, who joined the walk, to support Duke Ofori-Atta emphasized the significance of voting for a capable leader.
He appealed to the electorate to vote for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and Duke Ofori-Atta, stressing that their leadership would complement the excellent work of the NPP government.
He encouraged the party faithful to intensify their efforts by adopting a comprehensive, grassroots approach and urged them to take the campaign directly to the people to secure a resounding victory in the upcoming elections.
Abigail Agyare Owusuwaa, the E/R Volunteers Connect Coordinator, appealed to party members to put aside their differences and encouraged them to ignore negative commentary.
