With a little over a month to the December general elections, Ghanaians have been urged to eschew apathy and rather build their faith in the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) as it drives the country to the promised land and to entrench the Free SHS policy, enjoy sustainable power supply and avoid repeating the mistakes of the 2008 elections.
The General Secretary of the NPP Mr. Justin Frimpong Koduah Esq made this appeal on Wednesday in an interaction with Net 2 TV News in Kumasi.
He reminded the NPP faithful to cast their minds back on the mistakes made in 2008 that led to the hardships and pleaded to party members and Ghanaians, in general, to vote for NPP devoid of personal challenges.
He said this is the right time to rectify the mistakes made in 2008 for the sake of the next generation as well as sustain the significant policies and programmes such as Free SHS, Teacher and Nursing training allowances and reliable power supply, which has benefitted millions of people, by voting for NPP.
Justin Frimpong Kodua said that the Ashanti region has benefited in diverse ways in all areas of development and governance from the Akufo-Addo-led NPP administration, which will ensure their continued support for the party in their voting pattern.
He also said the electorate in the region desires a leader who is accountable after his tenure.
