The Dean of the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Dr. Vladimir Antwi-Danso, has appealed to the NDC to as a matter of need, reconsider their Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) boycott and take part in its activities.

He said, the idea of boycotting IPAC will rather inure to the benefit of the NPP and other political parties, because, decisions taken becomes partially binding on all parties in the end.

Dr. Vladimir Antwi Danso added that, if the NDC thinks they have issues with the Electoral Commission and the IPAC, they should rather partake in their meetings and express their anger and frustrations instead of sitting on the fence and throwing tantrums and opposing views.

In an Exclusive interview with Oman FM’s Kwaku Stephen, Dr. Antwi Danso, said, NDC has matured and experienced minds to help raise the standard of our electoral process and must be part of every step of deliberations.

Dr. Vladimir Antwi Danso was also however quick to call on the Electoral Commission to tolerate and welcome every action and opinion by the NDC, sieve them and take the good ones according to the constitution and work with it.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has proposed six election reforms following their rejection of the ones proposed by the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) after a two-day meeting to review the 2020 general election.

At a press conference, the Director of Elections for the party, Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah, stated that some of the reforms proposed by the EC, especially the closing of polls at 3:00 pm has the potential to disenfranchise many Ghanaians.
