Association Football governing body FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) has released their final verdict on Emmanuel Clottey’s transfer from Tunisian giants Esperance de Tunis to Asante Kotoko in 2015.
FIFA highlighted 3 major cash components to be paid by the Porcupines within a month or face demotion from the Ghana Premier league if they fail to meet the new deadline.
The World’s Football governing body are demanding Kotoko to make full payment of the $180,000.00 cash amount involved in the deal as at that time.
The African Club of the century have been instructed to pay an interest of $45,000.00 for the delay of the payment to Esperance de Tunis.
The three point payment plan is Ordering the Fabulous club to pay the committee which sat on the case as at that time till now $15,000.00 totaling the entire figures of the money to $240,000.00
FIFA has further issued that Failure to make full payment before 10th May, 2020 which will attract the relegation of the Ghanaian heavyweights to the second tier of Ghana Football.
