Former Member of Parliament for Kumbungu constituency, Hon. Ras Mubarak has issued a stern warning to both drivers and riders, urging them to familiarize themselves with basic road safety rules before taking to the streets.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony of the newly trained Okadamotto riders in Accra, Hon. Mubarak highlighted a common issue on the roads, asserting that many riders and drivers are unaware of the proper use of speed lanes.

He explained that speed lanes are designated for emergency purposes only and stressed that motorists should return to the regular lane after overtaking.
The Coordinating Director at Zerosol, Mr. Derrick Appiah Kubi noted that a significant number of road accidents are caused by reckless driving.

He introduced Zerosol’s electric motorbikes, which he claimed would help reduce costs for riders while contributing to safer, more sustainable road practices.
In an exclusive interview with one out of the 69 graduates of Okadamotto riders, Victor Morrison, who could not hide his joy shares immensely how the training will go a long way to help is riding skills and obey road safety regulations on the road. He therefore thanked the managers and instructors of State Transport Corporation, especially Mr Jacob in ensuring the five(5) Training becomes Successful and also urged them to partner government to ensure the Legislative instrument (LI) comes in to full force so it creates more jobs for the youth.
