Congress has approved monthly allowance for the Ghana FA President and his Executive Council Members after Ad-hoc Compensation Committee brought their weeks to an end.
Weeks ago, a team was formed to decide the monthly salary of the Executive Council Members of the Association.
The Ad-hoc Committee having completed their works, where subjected to approval.
On September 01, 2020 the Sporting fraternity held it’s 26th Ordinary Congress where it approved the allowance fixed for the Executive Council.
The President of the FA Kurt Okraku will be paid a monthly salary of GH¢12,000.
The Vice President, Mark Addo will also earn GH¢7,000 while the rest of the Executive Council members takes GH¢4,000.
However, the previous $15,000 ex-gratia that Executive Committee members under Kwesi Nyantakyi earned at the end of their tenure has been scrapped.
Source reveals that, other emoluments such as per diems of $500 and $400 per day for foreign travels of the President and Vice President has been accepted by Congress.
However, ExCo members would be on $300 for foreign travels and flights should be on a business class ticket for all.
