GHANA ENTERPRISE AGENCY PARTNERS WITH GHANA INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION YOUNG AFRICAN WORKS PROJECTS TO CREATE 39,000 JOBS NATIONWIDE

The Chief Executive Officer ( CEO) for Ghana Enterprise Agency( GEA) disclosed an ongoing program organized today in collaboration with Ghana Industry Associations(GIA) to mentorship and coach individual entrepreneurs to adopt strategic ideas to develop their businesses.


According to her, GEA in partnership with Master Card Foundation, Young  African Works Project and GEA created 39,000 jobs through mentorship and coaching by training individual entrepreneurs to acquire skills to expand and sustain their business.

She stated that the Mentorship and Coach programs organized for members are meant to help individuals to build and develop their businesses as well as sustain individual works.

She said, the goal of this Agency is to create 39,000 jobs through training of which 20,000 have been created and looking forward to doing an additional 4,000 through this ongoing Mentorship and Coaching programs to train members to create, expand and sustain their own businesses and individual works which begins from this week and probably ending next week.


Mrs.Kosi Nyankey also emphatically mentioned that, GEA is not meant to create revenue to support individuals financially to create, expand and sustain their businesses but to invest through every program to ensure that every necessary training to organized for the members acquired to acquire strategic plan which may help individuals to set up businesses across the country.

Mr. Tsonam C. Akpeloo, the chairman for the Ghana Industry Association for Greater Accra region also highlighted his views on ongoing mentorship and coaching programs for individual entrepreneurs.
