Legendary Ghanaian Gospel Musician, Rev. Seth Frimpong in the early hours on Friday, 24 April, 2020 passed away at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after battling with a short illness.
A facebook post on Prophet Seth Frimpong official page broke the news of his sudden demise. The post reads:
“Hello people Of God we are sorry to inform you that Prophet Seth Frimpong has pass on to the other side of the world.So from now onwards his pages will still be active since we have enough content of him to be posting on his pages.We pray that the good lord keep him till we meet again.His last song on earth will be released soon AGYEMENSAMU featured by his spiritual Son GODDY NYAMEATIE.”
Prophet Seth Frimpong in the early 20’s took the music industry by storm with his debut song ”This is just the beginning” which touched many lives and made him known in the gospel industry.
After reaching out to many with his songs, the legendary gospel musician was missing from the music scene until news of him being bedridden due to an illness was reported in 2017.
He will be remembered by many with ”Okumchorla” and ” Mehuri So”songs which made way in our hearts and homes. We use this opportunity to sympathize with his family and friends, the gospel music fraternity for his unfortunate demise.
