The Assembly Member for Swedru-Wawase electoral area in Afigya Kwabre South District in the Ashanti Region, Solomon Sarfo has appealed to benevolent individuals, and corporate bodies in the community and the region, to support the district assembly’s efforts to raise funds to purchase furniture for their newly built community centre.

Solomon Sarfo made this appeal during a community fund-raising event in aid of purchasing furniture and other logistics for their Swedru-Wawase community centre.
Solomon Sarfo, used the to express his gratitude to the government for its part in building the community centre for them, and called on philantrophic persons and groups to support and assist them to furnish the centre for the benefit of the communities in and around Swedru-Wawase.

The Queen mother for the community, Nana Afia Hemaa II who graced the function, commended NPP government led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for giving them that community centre and also commended Solomon Sarfo for his selfless commitment to the town.

The Assembly Member also urged members of the community to assist in the fundraising efforts for the completion of the project.
