The MP for Assin Central, Hon Ken Agyepong, has admonished students of the UPSA to be patriotic, honest, and disciplined if they want to be successful in life.
He said these three cardinal points are the main ingredients for success in every sphere of life, without which most people will struggle.
He was speaking on the occasion of the ushering in of new student leadership for both the Graduates and the Undergraduates of the University.
The Graduate Students Association and the Students Representative Council of the University of Professional Studies conferred an honorary membership, with a medal and citation, on Nana Okogyedom Ntim Barima, the natural health campaigner of Kencity Media and the CEO of SoulWellness Clinic, for his dedication to the wellness of humanity.
Several dignitaries were honored with citations at the program, including Hon Ken Agyepong.
Mr. Albert Asomani the President of the Graduate Students Association, organizers of the program, in a citation, praised the Chairman of the occasion for his incessant education to Ghanaians on holistic wellbeing and wellness.
The outgoing Dean of Graduate Studies, Prof. Mensah Mawutor, who will assume the new position of the Pro Vice-Chancellor, advised the student leadership to be honest and decisive and to put the management of the student funds into productive ventures to leave a befitting legacy for posterity.
