Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong, a presidential contender for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has wrapped up his Ken Is Listening Tour of the Northern Region, interacting with delegates of the NPP in the Nanton, Savelugu, Kumbugu and Tolon constituencies.
He also made stops at Kpandai, Wulensi, Mion, Bimbilla, and Yendi constituencies.
The businessman and politician also visited the Sagnarigu, Tamale South, Tamala North, and Tamale Central constituencies, where delegates and supporters of the constituencies welcomed him with aplomb.
He had toured the Zabzugu, Saboba, Tatale, Gushegu and Karaga constituencies earlier last week.
The Assin Central MP used his interactions with the delegates to emphasize his commitment to the grassroots of the party, which, according to him, is the critical mass and the soul of the NPP.
The 6-term legislator last week resumed his nationwide tour to interact with the party’s delegates and garner their support and votes in the upcoming November 4 presidential primaries of the NPP.
Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong, who was No. 1 on the ballot paper in the August 26 primaries and was once again selected as No. 1 on the ballot paper in the upcoming November 4 NPP primaries, will face off with incumbent Vice President Dr. Mahamidu Bawumia, former Minister of Agriculture Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, and Mr. Francis Addai Nimoh to elect the party’s presidential candidate for the 2024 presidential elections.
At Yendi, Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong proved his reliability and philanthropy when he presented a new pickup truck to the Yaa Naa at the Gbewaa Palace. The pick-up was a redemption of a pledge Ken Agyapong had made earlier.
In recognition, the Yaa Naa also decorated Hon Ken Ohene Agyapong with a smock.
The Assin Central MP later interacted with the constituency, electoral area, and polling station officers to lay down his vision for them, the party and the country.
He posited that he is a loyal and humble aspirant who has the heart of the electorate at heart and urged them to vote for him for the development of the communities.
Still, in the Northern Region, Hon Ken Ohene Agyapong also made stops at Tamale South, Tamale Central, Tamale North, Sagnarigu and Chereponi constituencies.
